A note on May 22 birthdays

May 22 sits at 0.3 to 2.6 degrees of Gemini, on day 2 of a 31 day stretch that started May 21. Astrologers reading the triplicity system of decans place this degree band in Gemini's first decan, sub-ruled by Gemini itself and its own ruler Mercury, so talk and quick thinking color the day's affection twice over. Libra and Aquarius are Gemini's two trines, each a strong match worth 8 points, and Aries and Leo are its sextiles, each a good match worth 5.
