Authors and Reviewers

One entry per named author linking to the author's profile page (Suraj Giri, /authors/suraj-giri/) and the reviewer roles, listed as open until appointed; every byline on the site resolves to exactly one profile.

Every page on this site is signed by a named person or by the site's editorial voice, the love gurus, and every byline resolves to a bio on this page. We do not publish under invented names, and no bio exists here that no byline uses. Today that means two names. Suraj Giri is the founder, engineer and editor, and Jahben R. is the astrology reviewer; the daily love horoscope and the astrology news posts carry Jahben R.'s byline, and the other news posts carry Suraj's. The story of how Suraj came to run the site is on about us.

Are the love gurus one person or a team?

A team. The name covers everyone who writes, edits and reviews for LoveCalculator.love, which today is one engineer and one astrology reviewer, with the other reviewer roles still open.

The love gurus are the editorial team, not a person. The name has been on this site since 2017. It is the byline on Game pages, where the formula is the author and the person who wrote the formula is credited on the methodology page. On every Tradition and Research-informed page the byline is a named human, followed by the reviewer's name where a reviewer has signed off the method, or by a line saying no reviewer is appointed yet. The birthday zodiac pages are the one exception: the byline names the author only, and the love block says the scores come from this site's zodiac points method, reviewed by Jahben R., astrologer, on 2026-09-23. That review covers the points table, not those pages, their dates or their notes.

Who are the authors and reviewers of LoveCalculator.love?

LoveCalculator.love has one named author, Suraj Giri, and one named reviewer, Jahben R., who reviewed the astrology tables. The list below is printed from the site's author and reviewer records, so it always matches the bylines.

A person is listed here once three things exist: a byline on a published page, a profile page on this site with a real one-line credential, and at least one outside profile that shows the same name. Jahben R.'s outside profile is not linked yet; until it is, the profile page gives the phone number that reaches Jahben directly.

Which pages are reviewed, and by whom?

One role is filled. Jahben R., an astrologer based in Manhattan Beach, California, reviewed and approved the zodiac points table and the synastry orbs and weights on 2026-09-23, unpaid, so every zodiac compatibility and synastry page names Jahben in its byline; the birthday zodiac pages name the reviewed method in their love block instead. The review covers those two tables only. The other roles are open, and the pages each would cover say "Reviewer for this method: not yet appointed" in their byline until one is.

Role	Reviews	What the reviewer checks	Reviewer
Licensed couples therapist or relationship researcher	Love language test and explainers, couple compatibility quiz, am-I-in-love quiz, attachment and love-styles explainers, relationship psychology, decision content	That the research is described accurately and nothing is claimed that it does not support	Open
Astrologer	The zodiac points table (zodiac hub, sign and pair pages, the chart and the zodiac explainers) and the synastry orbs and weights (birth chart compatibility)	That the tradition is described the way its practitioners hold it (not that it works; we do not claim that)	Jahben R., reviewed 2026-09-23
Astrologer and numerologist	Birth-date and soulmate tools, which blend sun signs with numerology	Same, for the blend and its weighting	Open
Numerologist	Numerology calculator, life-path pairs, name numerology, wedding-date numerology	Same, for Pythagorean numerology	Open
Vedic astrologer	Kundli matching explainer	The eight-koota table and the manglik section	Open
Child-safety or education reviewer	Name calculator, Love Tester, FLAMES, crush and friendship calculators, results cards, TikTok test explainer	Age-appropriateness of copy visited by children and teenagers	Open

If you hold the credential for one of the open roles and would like to review our pages, write to us. Reviewers are named on the byline, are listed on this page with a profile page of their own that says what they reviewed and when, and work to our rules on how pages are written, labelled and reviewed.

How bylines work here

• Game pages: "the love gurus". The formula's engineer is credited on the methodology page.
• Tradition and Research-informed pages: the author's name, then "Method reviewed by" with the reviewer's name, credential and review date, linked to the reviewer's profile, then the updated date. While a reviewer is unappointed, the line reads "Reviewer for this method: not yet appointed (see our editorial policy)". A reviewer's contact details and services are printed on the reviewer's profile only, never in a byline. The birthday zodiac pages print the author's name and the updated date only; the reviewed zodiac points method is named in their love block.
• Trust pages: the author's name and the updated date.
• The "Updated" date changes only when the content changes, never for a design or template change, and every correction, rewrite and method change is on the changelog.
