A note on April 23 birthdays

Taurus reaches day 4 of its run, between 2.2 and 4.5 degrees of the sign, still inside the first decan under the triplicity system of decans, ruled again by Venus rather than a sub-sign of its own. This site's points method scores Taurus and Capricorn at 8, a trine and the strongest pairing on the chart, ahead of the sextile Taurus shares with Pisces at 5. The same tradition reads Taurus as wanting a partner who moves at an easy pace and proves reliable over time, rather than one in a rush.
